The Scientific Committee reserves the right to allocate Oral Presentations to a different presentation type (Flash or Poster).<\/li><li>Abstracts can only be submitted electronically through the online abstract submission form available at the top of this webpage and should be submitted by <strong>February 28, 2026<\/strong>, at the very latest.<\/li><li>Acknowledgment of receipt of your submission will be sent to your stated e-mail address. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail within 24 hours, please contact us at info@isols2026.org.<\/li><li>Abstracts must be written in English.<\/li><li>In the title, please use capital letters only where necessary.<\/li><li>Authors\u2019 names must be listed with mixed-case letters (first name and family name in full). Affiliations (institute\/hospital\/university, city, country) should be properly stated in your abstract in lowercase. <strong>A maximum of 3 institutions<\/strong> per author is allowed.No references to the exact addresses (street number, ZIP) are needed and will be deleted for reasons of uniformity.<\/li><li>Abstract texts should have the following structure:<br \/>a) Introduction<br \/>b) Method<br \/>c) Results<br \/>d) Conclusion<\/li><li><strong>The text must be a maximum of 450 words<\/strong>, excluding the title, authors list and affiliations.<\/li><li>You may include <strong>two images or tables<\/strong> as a separate supporting file (not embedded within the abstract body). Files must be in JPG or PNG format, clearly labeled, and <strong>no larger than 5000 pixels in size<\/strong>. Please ensure you have the necessary permissions to use any images, especially those containing patient-identifiable information<\/li><li>It is the author&#8217;s responsibility to submit a complete abstract in a finalized format. Any errors in spelling, grammar, or scientific facts will be reproduced as typed by the author. Changes and editing can be made until the deadline of <strong>February 28, 2026<\/strong>. In case of a mistake during the submission, it is not necessary to submit a \u201cnew abstract\u201d, please contact the Meeting Organizing Secretariat at info@isols2026.org.<\/li><li>The presenting author is indicated by clicking on the appropriate box next to the respective name. <strong>The same author can present a maximum of three (3) abstracts.<\/strong> Co-authorship is open to an unlimited number of abstracts.<\/li><li>Pre-registration of the abstract\u2019s presenting author by <strong>June 15, 2026<\/strong>, is a prerequisite for its presentation in the Scientific Program and its publication in the Meeting electronic material.<\/li><li>If the study has been supported by a grant, please indicate the source of funding at the bottom of your abstract. Failure to present the abstract on-site will result in exclusion from online publishing.<\/li><li>Abstracts will be assessed by an expert panel of reviewers. Acceptance of the submitted work is at the discretion of the Scientific Committee.<\/li><li>Consent for publication of individual patient data (applies to abstracts with identifiable patient information): For publication of an abstract that contains identifiable information about patients, it is necessary that patients have given consent for the research to be published. For all abstracts that include identifiable patient details (e.g. gender, age, illness, location) or images, written informed consent must be obtained from the patient (or their parent or legal guardian) and a respective statement should be included in the abstract text.<\/li><li>Declaration of Conflict of Interest: ISOLS is committed to ensuring the integrity of its scientific, educational, and research programs. Abstract submission requires disclosure of any financial or other interest that might be construed as resulting in an actual, potential, or apparent conflict.
